Principals' Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

A warm welcome back to Term 2 to all our students and families. We hope you all enjoyed a happy, holy Easter break with family and friends, and are ready for another exciting term. We are all looking forward to the wonderful learning opportunities  at St Joseph's this term.

ANZAC Day

It was wonderful to see so many students and staff members join us and represent our school community in the traditional ANZAC Day march and commemorations last Tuesday. Following the march we attended the official ceremony in the Tamworth War Memorial Town Hall, where our captains; Kai Parker, Sophia Quach, Chaise Kelly and Amelia Lennox laid a wreath in honour and memory of all those who have lost their lives serving Australia in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.

“No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

P & F

Our next P & F Meeting is tomorrow evening, Tuesday 2nd May 2023 at 5:30pm in the staffroom. Cherie Bell is unable to continue in her role as President so this position is currently vacant and we will be looking to fill it at the meeting. We would like to thank Cherie for her tireless efforts and support of the P & F Association over many years.

May God bless you and your family,

Maree Holland & Greg O'Toole
