2023 P&F Committee

P&F are seeking to fill the following roles on the committee. Please feel free to reach out to any members for more info or email us pnf@sjwheelershill.catholic.edu.au or come along to our next meeting on March 7th. No experience required! All are welcome

Vice-Chair

To attend the P&F meetings and support the Chairperson as required
To share duties with the Chairperson as agreed e.g. Co-ordinate the hot lunches during the year and be the contact person for the leads
Co-ordinate the nibbles for each meeting

Secretary/Assistant Secretary

Prepare the agenda in consultation with the Chairperson and Principal
Notify members of meetings (Date, time venue)
Confirm attendance for team for meetings and chase up any reports that may be required prior to each meeting if the representative cannot attend
Write up Minutes following each meeting
Maintain records of all P&F meetings
Receive and manage correspondence related to the P&F
Oversee Facebook page
Communicate with the school P&F community via the Facebook page as required for any P&F related matters
Liaise with the class reps as required to inform about P&F initiatives

P&F are still looking for volunteers to be class reps for the following classes:

4PD, 5G, 6B

Class Reps responsibilities:

Assist the teacher in providing a communication channel between the teacher and parents/carers
Communicate P&F activities to classroom parents/carers
To provide parents/carers with a class list including names, contact numbers and email addresses (after consent has been gained for sharing of this information)
Organise opportunities for parents/carers at each level to gather together
Organise teacher gifts as required eg. birthday/end of year
