ART NEWS

It has certainly been a colourful start to the year in the Art room, with our talented artists embracing the vibrant world of colour as they develop their sense of identity and creativity.

Students across the school have been preparing various artworks for ANZAC day, which falls at the beginning of Term 2. Classes have experimented with a range of resources whilst creating their tribute artwork, and have enjoyed learning about the story of the ANZACs.

The school holidays provide the perfect opportunity to recharge our batteries! We hope that all of our amazing students and their families enjoy a restful break, and encourage you all to take some time for yourself when you can. Mindful colouring provides a screen free option for passing the time and develops our sense of calm and ability to focus. Perhaps, you might head out for a walk and admire the changing colour of the leaves! Ballarat certainly knows how to put on a spectacular Autumn!

Take care everyone, we look forward to seeing you next term.
