USA Space Camp ready to launch!

A high number of families have expressed interest in the 2023 USA Space Camp, therefore this opportunity will go ahead. Deposit payments of $1000 are due by 30th November on Compass. If you cannot see the event, please contact Mary Luu on mary.luu@education.vic.gov.au

Please note that deposits are non-refundable unless the school or tour company can no longer run the camp.

Alumni on the big screen

Imagine a house that grows its own food. That's the vision of environmental campaigner Joost Bakker, who was once dubbed the 'Poster Boy of Zero Waste Living' by The New York Times.

Now showing at selected cinemas, Greenhouse is a documentary that follows Bakker as he builds a self-sustaining home, an ecosystem that provides its occupants with water, energy, shelter and nourishment.

DSC alumni and internationally acclaimed chef, Jo Barrett, features in this film. Greenhouse will appeal to audiences hungry for a glimpse at a greener and more beautiful future. Greenhouse is also suitable for secondary school students undertaking, Science and Geography with further links to the Cross-curricular priority of Sustainability.
