CAROLS NIGHT

END OF YEAR AWARDS CEREMONY

Our End of Year Awards Ceremony will be held on Friday 2 December from 8:30-10:30am. Parents of those children receiving awards were notified via email this week. We ask that only parents and families of award recipients attend due to space restrictions. 

MOVE UP DAY

On Monday 5 December students will move into their class groups for 2023. Students will visit their 2023 classroom and meet their teacher for next year.  

CASUAL DRESS 'BLUE' DAY

Tuesday 6 Decemberis casual dress day. To celebrate Larapinta's wins across all of our sporting events this year we are encouraging students to come wearing blue clothing. If your child chooses to wear casual clothes, please send them with a gold coin or some non-perishable food to be donated to our Term 4 charity, Lutheran Care Alice Springs. 

YEAR 6 GRADUATION

The Year 6 Graduation Service will be held on Wednesday 7 December from 6.00-8.00pm in the hall. All Year 6 students are required to be at school by 5.45pm at the latest, in their full school uniform (not the Year 6 t-shirts).

END OF YEAR REPORTS

Reports will be sent home with the eldest child in the family on Thursday 8 December. If your family is leaving early due to holidays reports can be collected from Reception the week prior to school commencing in 2023. Reports cannot be collected prior to Thursday 8 December.

LOST PROPERTY

We have lots of lost property at Reception - including water bottles, hats, uniform items, towels and goggles. If you think something could belong to your child, please come and have a browse. Parents and carers are reminded to please label their child’s clothing so items can be returned to them. Any items left at the school at the end of the year will be donated. 

LIBRARY BOOKS

All library books are now due back in the library. All borrowed books need to be returned ASAP so they can be accounted for before the end of the school year. 

VACATION CARE

The Y will be offering vacation care at Living Waters over the upcoming school holidays. Please see the below attachment for more information. 

FOUNDATION 2023

We are excited to announce that, due to high demand, we have opened an additional Foundation 2023 class. Contact us today to book a tour with our principal - 8950 0700 or living.waters@ntschools.net. 

Expression of Interest Mid- Year Entry

From 2023, subject to numbers, there will be a mid-year Foundation intake at Living Waters Lutheran School. This will be an additional class.

From 2023, if your child turns 5 years between 1 July and 31 December, they can start school in either:

• Term 3 of 2023
• or Term 1 2024

Students enrolled through a mid-year intake will complete 6 terms of Foundation. The standard enrolment fee of $200 will apply and fees for terms 3 and 4 are $1037.50 per term. Early bird and sibling discounts apply. Please contact us for a tour or any more information. 

TERM 4 OFFERINGS

Offerings this term will be going to Lutheran Care Alice Springs. Instead of money, we are asking for donations of non-perishable food items. These will be distributed by Lutheran Care to people in need. Non-perishable donations could include tinned vegetables, long-life milk, tea or coffee, pasta and cereal. Thank you for your ongoing support of Lutheran Care.
