Performing Arts

The Music Department is finishing the year with a flurry of concerts featuring many of our hardworking musicians. 

Thursday lunchtime saw the Senior contemporary ensemble 'Call Rice' performing for an enthusiastic crowd. 

That night it was the turn of our Year 7 & 8 classroom band students, showing their parents what they achieved over the semester. They were joined by HONK, 4square and Bollywood Fusion, who all demonstrated the various options for continuing music involvement at Killester. 

Next week will see our instrumental music students show off their skills at our soirees on Monday and Wednesday night. The students have been working in duos and trios to put together a varied program for everyone's enjoyment. 

As we finish the year we would like to give a huge thank you to our wonderful music leaders for 2022, Jacque and Amy. These students have been heavily involved in the music program for many years and exemplify the fun and commitment that we stand for. Best of luck to all our Year 12 musicians for their future musical lives. 

Music Enrolment Forms

The 2023 Music Enrolment Forms are now available at the front office and Music Office and download from our website - if you would like to enrol for Instrumental Music lessons 2023 please return forms to the front office by 2nd December.  Payments will be processed in the 2nd week if February 2023.  Any questions please email ktaberner@killester.vic.edu.au
