Meet our Living Waters OSHC Team

Thomas Eldridge – Casual Educator

Hi, I’m Tom! I have lived in Alice Springs my whole life and I am two weeks away from finishing year 12 at St Phillips College. I enjoy soccer, riding motorbikes, and running. I love working at the YMCA OSHC program and playing sport with the kids and helping them solve Rubik’s Cubes.

Monthly Program Reflection – October

We have had plenty of activities to keep us busy this October. We made our own pet rocks… some crazy looking rocks were designed! You can see them all in the floor book. We celebrated Diwali on October 24th. The children enjoyed colouring stencils, doing a Diwali maze and making streamers. On October 30th, we will be celebrating our Grandparents for NT Grandparents Day. Then everyone’s favourite… Halloween. Special activities and treats for this day for the children to enjoy. We have also been enjoying our Thursday Netball Programs!

Upcoming in Term 4

During November we will have activities on eating healthy and how to keep ourselves physically fit. Indoor and outdoor activities will be planned. We will also be starting our Christmas activities as we wind down for the end of Term 4. We will also be participating in a three-week Jiu Jitsu program in weeks four to six, which will be very fun and an opportunity for skill building.
