In KM we have been exploring all the ways that people can express themselves. We have looked at storytelling through different kinds of puppets, had a go pretending to be a string puppet, and created our own spoon puppets. Also, we have been learning to communicate through music, using our singing voices and xylophones.

KW have been designing and creating the "Best Toy Ever" as part of thier Inquiry Unit. KW has looked at what makes a toy great, what aspects of their own favourite toys they love the most and then applied this knowledge to designing and creating the Best Toy Ever.

After creating it the class then wrote a persuasive piece of writing explaining why they thought Mrs Wickson should buy their toy this Christmas.

Lots of heated discussions around what makes a great toy were shared, but also lots of fun designing and creating.
