YEAR 8 PROJECTS

Our Year 8s have been working hard in Maths this term completing their projects entitled ‘Raising Money for a Charity.  They have been learning how to use spreadsheets including setting up formulas, and have applied their learning to running a small stall at the markets.  Many students took the opportunity to take their investigation further, in creating business plans, interview family and friends about the small businesses they run, work out breakeven costs, and apply their understanding to their own scenarios.  The students have all done a great job and it was so great to see so many students extending themselves with their investigation.
