Prep

What a year it has been. I can't believe I am about to say goodbye to my beautiful preppies!

To all the wonderful Prep families I wish you a Merry Christmas and a fantastic break. I thank you for your partnership over the year. The chats at the gate, the phone calls, seesaw messages and pictures. I know it was probably not how you imagined your childs first year at school to be but I thank you for being so flexible and able to adjust to everything the year has thrown at you. The preps have grown in every way imaginable and I know they will continue to do so next year.

Best wishes

Coal Creek

Last Wednesday P-2 headed off to Coal Creek. The preps loved visiting the old school and learning about the types of the types of things that they were taught, what their classroom looked like and punishments for misbehaving. I think the preps can all agree they would much rather be at school today rather than in the olden days. Another highlight was visiting the 'dunny'. The preps found it hilarious that people use to go to the toilet in a little room disconnected from the house. It was great fun getting outside and exploring the old way of living. It was a fantastic day and we all learnt a lot.

100 (and something) Days of Prep

The preps had an amazing day and for some it was the 'best day ever'. We made pictures of our 100 year old selves and thought about what we would like to do when we are 100. In art the preps made special crowns and Miss Renee was very confused when the preps had disappeared and only grannys and grandpas were to be seen.

We had lots of fun doing our 100 workout followed by some parachute fun. I think from the pictures below you can tell we had a fantastic day. For most of the preps they will tell you that the best part of the day was the hot chips. In the afternoon we had some play in the classroom and enjoyed begin together as a class.

What a fantastic day!
