Interschool Cricket

On Monday 14th February, we took a group of intermediate boys to compete in the eureka division of school cricket. The event took place at Vic park and the boys had a magnificent win over Phoenix College to book their spot in the next level. 

We started off batting and made 138 off our 15 overs with Alex Bennetts making a very nice 52,  Gus Prenc 28 and Cy Robinson-Cooper 20  with contributions from the rest of the batting line up. 

We then started our bowling innings restricting Phoenix to 45 after 11 overs before calling it a game. James Burton getting 2 wickets, Tristyn Slater 2 wickets, Cy Robinson-Cooper 1 wicket and Krys Gorrie 1 wicket.

If you see the boys around give them a big congratulations, they are all over the moon with their efforts.

The boys and myself cannot wait to take on the next schools in the upcoming Greater Western Region (GWR) division. Each school in the GWR division won their local division so it will be a great challenge for the boys.
