Share the Dignity

Hello MGC Community!

Philanthropy Club has started its annual collection for Share the Dignity through the It’s In the Bag initiative which provides essential items for womxn experiencing homelessness. Share the Dignity will distribute these bags during December, helping to spread some holiday joy and relief to those who need it most.

On your next supermarket run, pick up the following essentials and pop into a second-hand tote or handbag: 

• Period products (pads, tampons or period undies – please no cups as these require reliable access to sanitation)
• Shampoo and conditioner
• Soap/shower gel
• Toothbrush and toothpaste
• Deodorant (roll-on/stick only – no aerosols!) 

This year, including a (new) cloth mask and hand sanitiser are very appreciated!

You can leave your bag in the basket outside the library any day this month.
