Ashley Osborne and Grace Palumbieri shortlisted for VCE SEASON OF EXCELLENCE: TOP ARTS

 

Congratulations to Grace Paumbieri and Ashley Osborne who have been shortlisted for Top Arts in 2022. Grace's cyanotype print and an installation consisting of 4 sculptures exploring the theme of 'Repurpose', and Ashley's tufted rug exploring the theme of 'Inconspicuous Familiarity' through the post-war Australian suburban dream were shortlisted.

The Top Arts exhibition presents outstanding work by students who have completed Art or Studio Arts Studies in the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE).

Top Arts is an exhibition of photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, ceramics, film and printmaking produced by VCE art and Studio Arts students, held at The Ian Potter​.

 

The visual arts department and Ashley would like to thank Maj, from Australian Tufting Supplies https://australiantuftingsupplies.com/ for generously lending us a Tufting gun and teaching Ashley how to tuft.
