We would like to bring to your attention the following opportunities for parents and carers:

Understanding Self-Harm in Young People – Community Information Session

Headspace Greensborough in partnership with Austin Health Youth Engagement and Treatment Team Initiative (YETTI) is running an online information session for parents/carers and the community on how to learn more about self-harming behaviour in young people, and how to respond. 

Date and Time: Monday 22nd November 2021, 5pm-6pm

Teen Triple P - Positive Parenting Program Online

The Victorian Government is continuing to provide Victorian families free access to the online Triple P Positive Parenting Program. This evidence-based program can be undertaken at your own pace and offers 7 modules:

  • What is positive parenting of teenagers?
  • Encouraging behaviours you like
  • Teaching new skills and behaviour
  • Managing problem behaviour
  • Planning ahead for risky situations
  • Raising confident, capable teenagers
  • Parenting during COVID-19
