Year 9 Outdoor Education

Students from the Year 9 Outdoor Education classes attended indoor rock climbing at the Hard Rock Indoor Climbing Centre in the CBD last week.

Students enjoyed learning how to use the safety equipment, Belay techniques to assist their climbing partner, and challenged their rock climbing skills up the many routes available.

Thank-you to Peter Hilton and Angus Smith for assisting with the travel to and from the venue and encouraging our year 9 students during the climbing sessions. 

Well-done Year 9 Outdoor Education, it was fantastic to see you stepping out of your comfort zones and showing great team work!
