Basketball
On Monday 28th November at 6pm in the Geoff Handbury Sports Centre a special forum will be held for any player, coach, manager or parent currently interested in / or involved in College Basketball. This will be an opportunity to share in the vision for Basketball in 2017 and positively discuss some new initiatives at both junior and senior level. Glenelg Division Tennis
Last Friday 4th November, the College GD tennis team comprising of 16 enthusiastic Year 7-10 students participated in the annual Glenelg Division Tennis day at the Hamilton Tennis Club and Monivae College. Despite the windy but sunny conditions, the standard of play was quite high and our team managed to perform consistently throughout their games to secure 2nd place on the day. Our only successful competitor on the day was Kirrily Jackson in the Intermediate Singles B division. Many other competitors came 2nd in their division on the day including Jake McKenzie in the Junior A Singles, Olivia Allen in the Junior B Singles, Cole Uren Sze To in the Intermediate Singles A, Amy Waters in the Intermediate Singles A, Raph Serong and Grace Austin the Junior Doubles and Louise and Kate Millear in the Intermediate doubles.
