Principal's Report

Bravo! Congratulations to all the cast, orchestra, production team and staff on a superb performance of “Seussical”. The focus and energy was immensely appreciated by great audiences on all three nights. It was an enormous team effort and a great display of creativity. I would especially like to commend our talented Director, Mrs Edwina Moutray for her superb vision and leadership.
At yesterday’s Assembly I reminded students and staff of Baron Pierre de Coubertin’s Olympic Creed “The most important thing in life is not the triumph, but the fight; the essential thing is not to have won, but to have fought well.” If it is good enough for Olympians then all of us should take time to reflect on this philosophy.
Finally, sincere thanks to the host families, staff and students for making our Gaoyou visitors feel so welcome last week. We have already received tremendous feedback from the Gaoyou delegation thanking everyone for their hospitality.
