Message from Gemma

St Stephen's & St Gabriel's Catholic Primary School's Principal

I hope that you all enjoyed a fun and happy Easter break spending quality time with family and friends.

It was wonderful to see our children return and hear all their holiday stories.

Congratulations to Rita and Tomas

AMAZING!!!!!!

Global Open Championships.

Rita and Tomas both won gold beating their opponents 2-0

This was Tom’s first ever competition.

Congratulations to Rita and Tomas - bravery and dedication has led you here.

ANZAC Day

We returned to school missing ANZAC Day, a significant day in the history of Australia and New Zealand. On this day we remember all the men and women who have lost their lives fighting in wars to protect Australians and people in many other countries to maintain our freedoms to live safely in a peaceful and fair society.

Confirmation

Congratulations to all our candidates on making their Confirmation last Sunday morning at St Gabriel’s Church. They were all very well prepared by Laura Jane, Angelique, Nick, Laura, Michelle and Linda. Fr. Prtichard and Bishop Terry Curtin  made everyone feel welcome. We could see and feel the spirit well and truly alive amongst our candidates and families. Thank you to all involved and I hope you had a lovely celebration after.

Mothers day

In the coming week we celebrate the amazing women in our lives. St Gabriel’s will celebrate in the morning - coffee and croissant style. Whilst St Stephen’s celebrates - coffee and cake style in the afternoon. We have sent all info regarding the event and RSVP via email along with the stall information. Thank you Haley, Laura, Enza, Louise and our FEG team for supporting this.

2024

Tours and enrolments continue. It looks like we have opened a second Prep class for St Gabriels as enrolments are very high.

St Stephen’s

Tours and enrolments continue. As you can see our NEW fence has been erected - what a difference!! Now our community garden, mural, new carpet and new playground will follow. Spread the word we are thriving - and our beautiful school is ready for enrolments.

Gemma Sick leave

From May 10th I will be on sick leave for approximately 3 weeks - I am having a small operation that requires me to have some bed rest before returning (see how I go). Jarryd and Laura Jane will be your contact for any matters.

Thank you for your continued support and care,

Gemma
