Maths in Grade 5

Last term, the very clever Grade Five students had been engaging in many hands-on maths tasks. Hands-on tasks help to build conceptual understanding of mathematical concepts and make for an enjoyable learning experience. The Grade Five students are immersed in a Shapes unit of work. They had the opportunity to learn about and manipulate 2D shapes and 3D Objects to create their own models using matchsticks and Playdough.
