School Council Update

Welcome to Term 2!!! 

Building and Grounds Update 

I’m sure you will all agree that the new soft-fall mulch underneath the playgrounds looks fantastic!

A massive thank you to EcoDynamics for their amazing generosity, and a particular thanks to Prep parent Lachlan Jaacks for donating his time and coordinating it all. 

 

Similarly, we are so grateful for mulch from Maroondah Council and all the families who helped shovel and wheelbarrow it at last term’s working bees! 

 

 

 

We are excited to have submitted a Maroondah City Council Arts and Cultural grant application for outdoor wall murals. Our fingers are crossed that our application is successful!

 

If you are aware any grant applications that might be suitable for Marlborough, please feel free to discuss with any member of School Council. We are constantly looking for ways to make MPS an even better school and environment for our students and staff. 

 

 

Open Night

To promote our upcoming Open Night (17th May 5pm – 7pm) and our ongoing tours for prospective families, we are so grateful for the free real estate boards provided by Vogl + Walpole Real Estate.

Meet your School Council member

Name: Jocelyn Blair

 

Why did I join: I wanted to help make the school the best place if can be, where every child can thrive. I really believe many hands make light work.

 

What skills do you bring: I'm keen and enthusiastic, and have a strong interest in improving the learning environment.  

 

Something you may not know about me: I love to propagate fuschias. I have pots full of them around the garden.
