2016 Awards Ceremony

The Fairhills High School 2016 Awards Ceremony will be held on Friday 9th December at 7:30pm at the Knox Civic Centre.

This is an event held to celebrate the success of our students and congratulate them for their hard work.

Fairhills High School Excellence Awards are allocated by class teachers as follows:

Academic Achievement Award – to the 3 highest academic performing students in each class.

Academic Effort Award – to 3 students whose effort has been noteworthy.

Citizenship Award - for contribution to class well-being and organisation.

Faculty Awards – for all-round contributions to a faculty.

Academy Awards – for outstanding efforts in the Performing Arts, Basketball and STEM Academies.

Only the top 10% of students at each year level are invited to participate in this special event. The other Award recipients will receive their certificates in their semester two reports.

Year 11 students who received awards in Year 12 subjects are presented their awards on this evening, as are some special awards, shields and bursaries from community organisations.
