International Women's Day

On the 10th of March, both of Staughton Colleges Vice Captains were invited to Major Sophie's International Women's Day afternoon tea.  Accompanied by Mrs. Hardiman, the three of us enjoyed petite main and dessert courses.

Sitting down with mentors was one of the main highlights of the day. Being able to talk to other people from other schools and community members that make a contribution everyday. Clubs such as Zonta and the Bollywood dance club of Melton were the mentors selected for Staughton. It was truly an honour to be able to attend and an amazing experience with just as equally amazing people. 

On behalf of Staughton's Vice Captains we would like to thank Major Sophie for this experience and hope that Staughton is invited next year, because it was truly a pleasure.
