LOVE BITES for Year 10

On the 1st, 2nd and 9th March, a program about healthy relationships making informed choices in life, and to teach students to be respectful to others in their lives.

The Love Bites Program comprised of class room activities, group discussions, as well as artistic activities to discuss healthy relationships in today’s society. Topics covered are:

Respectful Relationships
Consent
Healthy Relationships
Sexual Assault
Art Program – film program, song writing, art work and t shirt printing.

Other community agencies involved were Snr Const Renee Lack and Sen Const Georgie Steel from the Proactive Policing Unit, Secondary School Nurses Nat Poljek, Josie Mitchell and Meaghan Lavelle. The artists were from Festival of Healthy Living – John and Stephan and song writer Gab provided a great artistic avenue for students to express their thoughts and feelings on what they have learned from their sessions.
