Victorian Netball League Selection

Jemima Price, Y10, has been selected to play for Peninsula Waves under 19s in the Victorian Netball League (VNL) for the 2017 season.

Last month, Jemima also represented Two Bays Region in the Netball Victoria State Titles held at Eagle Stadium, Werribee. They finished 6th overall from 17 regions across Victoria competing over two days. Well done, Jemima.

World 1500mChampion

Kilvington is extremely proud to announce that we have a world champion in our teaching ranks! Health and PE Teacher, Anna Kasapis, competed in the World Masters Athletics Championships in Perth in 40°C last weekend to take first place and to become World Champion in the Women’s 35-39 1500m event.

Huge congratulations from all of us at Kilvington, Anna. What an inspiration!

Young Kinky Boots Star

Elijah Slavinskis, Year 2, is currently starring as Young Lola in Kinky Boots at Her Majesty’s Theatre.  He attended an open audition and was selected to be one of four boys chosen to share the role of Young Lola.  Elijah performs 2 nights a week and is on standby 2 nights a week on a rotating roster. 

Elijah made such an impact on the producers and preview audiences, he was chosen to perform on Opening Night on 22 October in front of a full house of industry heavy weights and Cyndi Lauper herself.  According to Elijah, “I love doing the show on stage for the audience.  Making them happy makes me happy!”

Tickets are on sale until 29th January 2017, and the season is expected to run to March.
