Maths is Everywhere

It’s been another busy start to the school year and the students and staff are in full learning mode, taking on the daily challenges of the classroom with eagerness and enthusiasm. 

As you may know Numeracy is my passion and it is my belief that everyone is capable of having success in their Maths learning, no matter their starting point. 

One of the questions I always get asked by our amazing school community is about how they can support their child with Numeracy at home. 

Attached is an outstanding article from the Maths Association of Victoria on how this can be done with everyday activities that enforce the beliefs and ideals that Maths is everywhere and it is crucial in developing an understanding of these concepts for success throughout a child’s life.
