Deputy Principals' News

Hello Everyone and welcome to 2023,

Emma and I are thrilled to be your Acting Deputy Principals. As always it has been a very busy start to the term, our students have transitioned very well to their new classrooms and teachers,  we could not be prouder of them.

Parent Information Sessions

Over the last two weeks we have held all collaborative community information sessions.

A very big thank-you to the staff for holding these vital meetings. If you were unable to attend in person or online, please use the link that was sent for the meetings in the welcome back letter on the 31st January. Alternatively, to view a recording of the meeting I have included these below for you.

Student Uniform

As part of our information shared at the Parent Information sessions we spoke about uniforms. Wearing a uniform enables us to feel part of a community and promotes pride and respect in our school. We love our school and to show that we belong to St James we wear our school uniform with pride.

This means:

  • Wearing the correct uniform on the correct day
  • Putting on a clean shirt and socks each day

Can we please ask that families support the staff and students at St James to wear the uniform as stipulated:

PLEASE NOTE:

The sport jacket is NOT to be worn with the summer uniform. It is only to be worn on sports days.

Stockings or leggings are NOT a part of the summer uniform or sports uniform. Tracksuit pants or shorts can be worn.

Our school is a respectful relationships school, students can choose any item from the summer list.
