Year 11 Boarders' Farewell
Thursday 21st November saw Chris Curran, Jodee Sayer, Chappo and Mr Murnane take all the Year 11 Boarding students to Back Beach Café for a dinner. It was a wonderful meal and a fantastic venue, with everyone enjoying themselves. We have done this over the last few years on the last boarding night of the year.
It’s an exciting time of the year as it draws to a close. The Year 11’s head off on new adventures, many of them seek part time/casual employment and regularly we see them offered jobs/apprenticeships out of this holiday period, proving again that a good work ethic, knowledge and enthusiasm can still work in your favour when seeking employment.
Year 10 Boarders' Farewell
Thursday 5th December, Therese Sparks, John White and Gary Mills took all the Year 10 Boarders out for the last night to the Back Beach Café. It was a magnificent evening, quite balmy, the food was awesome and everyone had a great night.
Year 10 Work Experience
The Year 10’s departed for work experience which many times either confirms the direction they thought they wanted to go was right for them or sometimes they find out they want to try something different altogether. What a great opportunity for them.
Residential Training
Residential staff have been busy with Professional Development. They have also spent a lot of time planning for 2020 in the residence.
The Year Comes to an End
Mr Jones has enjoyed his well deserved long service leave and looks fit and well. We look forward to seeing him back for 2020.
I wish all staff, students and their families a very safe and happy break and we look forward to seeing everyone back early next year.
