A Busy School Year Draws to a Close
What a busy but very successful school year! Both the Year 10 and 11 students have been kept busy in class with excursions and assessments up to their respective last day of class.
It was great for the Year 11 General students to enhance their knowledge of Animal Production Systems through a visit to the Wool Selling Centre and Wellard’s Export Depot during an excursion recently.
The Year 10 students participated in the Dinninup Show where they had the opportunity to participate in livestock and wool judging. They also attended a Lower South West Agriculture Excursion where they had the opportunity to see a variety of Agriculture enterprises and current research work that is being done. Students visited Cambray Dairy, Wulura Farm and toured the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development Research Facility at Manjimup. This excursion gave students real-life applications to what they have been learning about during their Agriculture classes.
Thank you
I would like to thank all the staff, especially the Class staff, for the enormous effort they have put in this year. Their dedication to improving outcomes for the students is to be commended.
2020 Class Books & Resources
Parents and Carers are asked to ensure they carefully read and act upon the booklists that they receive. It is critically important that students have the text books and equipment they need at the very beginning of the year. This ensures a smooth start and means all students can make the most of their learning opportunities. Due to copyright restrictions staff are not permitted to photocopy text books for students who haven’t managed to get theirs organised.
Thank you Parents & Carers
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the parents and carers who have been so supportive of the College, and in particular the Class staff this year. It is fantastic that we can work together to maximise student achievement.
Season's Greetings
On behalf of the Class staff, I would like to wish students, parents and fellow staff at the College, a happy and safe festive season. We look forward to working with all of you again next year.
