Senior School Report

Ok, business time in Senior School.

The end of term 3 means that Year 12 exams are just around the corner. Only a few more weeks of hard work and 13 years of schooling is done and dusted. This is the time where lifting efforts is required to get the study scores that we are capable of. If you want a study score above 30, it takes hard work, and dropping the ball now will have a massive affect. Teachers are working hard to get meaningful revision work together to help support you in this drive, and we cannot wait to see everyone in term 4 classes working hard.

Year 12 students should now be shifting focus big time onto exam preparations, and the more the better. By more, I mean practice exams. The more practice exams a student is doing, the more prepared they will be, and the more prepared they are, the less likely they are to get a shock.

The VCAA are fantastic when it comes to this. All previous exams are online and can be found easily by following this link,  https://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/assessment/vce-assessment/past-examinations/Pages/index.aspx  or by searching “VCAA past exams”.

To assist with this, the Senior Staff at Lowanna College are providing the opportunity for students to complete practice exams, under exam condition, during the September holidays. This is the last opportunity for students to practice under exam conditions, and therefore cannot be recommended highly enough. These will be held at Lowanna College in the Year 12 Centre with the following times.
