Primary Swimming Carnival

Last Friday 5th February students from Year 2-6 had our annual swimming carnival. 

The weather started off hot however as the day progressed it started to cool off. 

It was pleasing to see great participation by most of the students. 

House chants were good! Although Nincoola had a little trouble keeping time, the winning house for the chant competition was Chandler. 

Age Champions were; 

Senior - Rose Kliendienst and Tynan Bull

11 Years - Shelby Heagney and Eli McGinty

Junior - Ruby Soraghan and Tom Ward

The winning house was Nincoola. 

Various novelty races were held including a 'floatie' race for Year 6 students, the winner was the Thong team, second place to the Lounge team and finishing third was the Unicorn team. 

Congratulations to all winners who progress to Zone to be held on Thursday 18th February 2021 at Monckton Aquatic Centre, Armidale.
