Kindergarten 2021

On Friday 29th January through to Wednesday 3rd February, small groups of Kindergarten students came into Guyra Central School to have their Best Start Kindergarten Assessment.

On Thursday 4th February Guyra Central welcomed Kindergarten for their first full day for 2021. The start of the day began with parents being able to come into the classroom where students were able to show their parents around. Once the bell went, parent enjoyed a Welcome Morning Tea with the Principal, meanwhile Kindergarten started their busy day with a walk around the school, followed by the morning routine, stories, singing, drawing, L3 rotations and then lunch. After lunch, they enjoyed more books, mathematics, sport and recess, and lastly  PDH. With so much learning taking place, the day flew by so home time came around quickly and although students were extremely tired, they greeted their parents with bright smiles.  The day was summed up by one of the kindergarten students as "the best day of my entire life"!
