Chromebooks for Year 3, 2021

Chromebooks purchased through the LWT purchasing portal are now ready for pick up from the front office. As an extra little Christmas treat, when you pick up your child's Chromebook, you'll get a free copy of the Chromebook User Agreement! This will be sent out via Operoo at the beginning of next year for the whole school to read and sign digitally, but to support you and your child over the holidays with your new device, we thought it would be an excellent opportunity to establish those expectations for appropriate Chromebook use. 

If you have purchased a Chromebook independently, or are reusing a Chromebook from an older sibling, then this week we will send you an invoice for $37 for the Google Management Licence so we can enrol the device to the school account and set up the Chromebook for your year 3 child. Thank you to those parents who have already gone through this process.

Santa Tracker

Screentime can often be the go-to over the holidays when parents are on the lookout for some downtime, or if you have some work to do, to finish off the year (or start the new one) - so here's a fun Christmas themed option for your children, that also has some ICT based skills sprinkled into the mix.

Over the years we have used Santa Tracker in class as a fun coding activity, but there are many old and new activities for the children (and adults) to enjoy.
