Colour Run Fun

Thank you for your many years as a teacher at St Joseph’s. For putting up with so many classes, especially us.  You have shown the right time for a joke, and the wrong time. Sometimes you would get sidetracked. We might be learning English but are talking about the interior of a golf ball. But regardless, it was always teaching us and there was always an element of entertainment in some way. You have been such an amazing teacher and shared so many jokes with us.

We can’t forget to speak about the nicknames and the running jokes we had together. Whether it's our last names or ‘electricians’, we always had a laugh. The little rants about stories off the top of your head, and how Jack’s Dad’s plants always grow downwards. Calling us our siblings names, and catching onto little pieces of information like where we went on holidays and then over-exaggerating them and making reference to them for the next month.

Let’s not forget your amazing teaching. You have taught us and so many other students, always make it interesting, helping them and us to do great things. Sometimes your talking and thinking are fast-paced, but it always encourages us to pay attention.

You always found a way to sneak golf into the conversation, have intriguing discussions, giving us tips on how to properly putt or your friends who have been whacked in the eye with a golf ball. But at least now in your retirement, you will be able to play as much golf as you like while missing your favourite class (AKA class of 2020).

We will all miss you so much, as we couldn’t have asked for a better teacher this year. Most of us have seen you since prep. It is a shame that no more students are ever going to get taught by you, as you are so amazing. Long live golf!!!

You will be missed by all of us.

Love,

The St. Joseph’s Family!
