'This year I have had a tricky year and fun year because it's been hard with remote learning and this is why:

First of all, being home means you can easily get distracted by other things going on around the house. Secondly sometimes other people (known as younger siblings) can take your things. The reason I have had a fun year is: I really enjoy being at school and we got to do lots of fun things, we also got an Elf! We got to do fun lessons with specialists like art pictures and patterns. In Performing Arts it was lots of fun and in PE we got to play lots of games.' By Amelia.

Junior Science

During the last weeks of term Junior Students have been investigating sound and how it’s created. Using musical instruments and small experiments they’ve had a ‘vibrating’ good time!

Thank you to all my Junior Scientists and assistant teachers (parents) for all your hard work during a challenging 2020. Enjoy a well earned break and I will see you all next year.

Performing Arts

Last week Junior School students had the opportunity to present a dramatic performance to their peers.  Prep/One classes performed their sound and movement based piece of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'.  Grade One/Two retold the Dreamtime story of 'Tiddalik' through music, tableau and narration.  The students relished the chance to have a real live audience.  They also participated in a Q and A where they discussed what they enjoyed and their interpretations of the performances.  Well done Juniors!
