Academic Leadership Team

The Academic Leadership Team (ALT) is comprised of the nine Heads of Learning Areas plus other academic leaders, such as our Director of Inquiry and Innovation, our Director of Teacher Professional Growth, our Director of Learning Diversity, our Head of Pathways and Transition and our Magis Coordinator. The ALT focus on developing the teaching and learning within our College to ensure we maximise the learning opportunities provided to our students. These staff are also heavily involved in course counselling for students, particularly our Year 10 students later in the year. In 2021 we welcome three new members to the team – our Head of Religious Education, Miss Lana Turner, our Head of Technologies, Mrs Anna Davila and our Head of Mathematics, Mrs Jo Anne Friel.

Dungeons & Dragons and Drone Clubs

The STEM Drone Club is open ALL Secondary students with an interest in flying drones. The club has a number of small drones that are available for students to use, but students are also able to bring their own drones along if they have them. Next Tuesday recess there will be a meeting in B4 to discuss which day the club will fly the drones. All interested students are invited to attend.

The Dungeons & Dragons Club is also open to ALL Secondary students interested in role playing. The D&D Club has several campaigns that it has recently purchased. The campaigns are typically played once a week in the Library afterschool (3:20pm – 5:00pm). On Thursday there was a meeting at lunchtime in the Library, to see how many students were interested in playing D&D and how many people were willing to be Dungeon Masters to run campaigns.
