Advance Cake Decorating

Students in the 9/10 Cake decorating completed their last two major assessment tasks of the year. They had to complete a 'Treat Box' option for a client. This required the students to explore a range of recipes, from jam making to sweet slice options. The students were then required to design a business name, logo and present a final decorated box with all their cooking packaged for display. There were some fantastic designs completed and some budding future businesses in the making!
The final task was to cook and decorate a butter cake. All students were given a range of possible decorating options and created some delicious looking cakes! The students made buttercream and a number practised their piping skills. Check out the photos to see the fantastic final cakes.
