MAKING PARENTING EASIER – ADVICE FOR PARENTING YOUR TEEN

Parenting has never been more difficult. There is no manual on how to do it right and the influence of technology and social media is making life teen life, and therefore your life, more difficult. As a parent this is generally our most challenging time. Understanding how the teenage brain works can help in dealing with them. There are also strategies you can learn to support your teen while they go through including the difficult times of breaking away from family and rebelling against authority.

College teacher John Wood has undertaken many studies in parenting and for the last 8 years has run highly successful Parent Education programs for the City of Greater Geelong through their Regional Parenting Services.John has worked with thousands of teens over the years. Northern Bay recognises the importance of parent/child relationships in securing the very best outcomes for our students.  John will conduct a trial program for our parents on the Goldsworthy campus. It will run from 9:15 to 10:15am on Monday mornings for 6 weeks starting on Monday 3 May

This course has turned around parent/child relationships that were on the verge of breaking and has made good relationships even better. Everyone can benefit. All we need to make it a success is for a few brave souls to be the first to sign up and do it. We hope you can. If you are interested the link to the application form is below. Please fill it out and we will be in touch to confirm your position as soon as possible.
