There has been some outstanding student achievements during this term's STEM. This short video shows some of the projects that the students have thoroughly enjoyed.

Blue Light / Blue Edge

This week the Blue Light Blue Edge program pilot ended with a celebration of the participants achievements. All of the group accompanied their Police mentors on a visit to Livewire  Adventure Park,  Lorne to experience the Canopy Circuit, Spring Circuit, Short Circuit, Super Circuit or Shockwave Zip Coaster Courses. Livewire  LWP provides safety/ protective equipment and procedural instruction considered necessary for safety.

What a day for our Blue Edge students. They were challenged on the ropes course all day and alongside them. It was great to see the members of Vic police being a major part of the program.

Performing Arts

PERFORMING ARTS

This term the Year Prep to Year 2 students at Hendy and Peacock have been learning about the difference between the beat and rhythm. One of the ways they have demonstrated this is with clapping the beat to the fun songs, students can sing along to as well. Also learning about music and ta's and titi's has been lots of fun.

Remember When! ha!

IMPACT

This term has been a great start in our second pillar of excellence - IMPACT (Inspiring Musicians, Performers, and Artists to Create Together). While working on a radio show, which will be present in Term 2, we have worked alongside many professionals who have shared with us how their passions have led them to amazing career pathways. From Samantha Krajina a former student at Corio West PS (Wexford Campus) a leading business woman in Geelong and regular on  Bay FM, a sound artist who has travelled all over the world and local artist Nick Morris who introduced us to the world of screen printing.
