VSC Community Association News

The VSCCA is the social, networking and fundraising arm of the College, consisting of parents keen to be involved with how their child is being educated. By getting involved, we get to hear first-hand the (co-curricular and extra-curricular) initiatives being implemented by the College and how they may affect our children. By being a part of the Community Association, we also get the opportunity to influence the initiatives being implemented by the College. If you want to be involved, please leave your contact details at the College Front Office or email Bec Mitchell on VSCCA@vermontsc.vic.edu.au . The meetings and events provide a great opportunity to meet other parents, and also members of the College leadership team.

We are always keen to hear new suggestions for fundraising activities. If you cannot attend a meeting, please contact Bec Mitchell on VSCCA@vermontsc.vic.edu.au to discuss your fundraising ideas.

SECOND-HAND UNIFORM SHOP: 

The VSCCA runs a second-hand uniform shop where students can drop off their unwanted uniforms and if sold, the College retains a percentage of the sale. Volunteers are always welcome so that we can spread the load around.  The next sale will be on Wednesday 26th May. 

YEAR 7 DINNER ON THE DECK:

Wow, what a fantastic evening to welcome our new and existing families with a student in year 7 for 2021.  The evening was very well attended and we’d like to thank the school staff and students who put together such a fabulous social event – something we all missed so much during 2020.  Thank you also to the VSCCA helpers who assisted in the lead up to and on the night.
