P&F Meeting
The next P&F meeting will be held tomorrow Tuesday 4 May 2021 at 5:15pm in the Staff Room. All parents and friends are welcome to attend.
Day Stall
Students will be able to purchase gifts from the P&F Mother's Day Stall on Friday 7th May. All gifts are $7 each and can be paid for on Qkr. Cash will be accepted by the P&F on the day however please send the right money as no change can be given.
School Dental Visit
The School Dental Van, a NSW Government initiative will be visiting St Joseph's during the week of 15 June. This is a NSW Government initiative. Qualified dentists and technicians will provide a FREE full dental examination. If you wish for your child to have a dental check please fill out the consent form that was sent home last week. Consent forms must be returned to the office by Monday 10 May.
School Photos - Wednesday 2 June
This year's school photos will be taken on Wednesday 2 June. All students must come to school in their WINTER UNIFORM complete with school tie and polished black school shoes. Students should have their hair neatly tied back or combed down.
Parents will have received an email direct from MSP Photography explaining how photos order can be done directly through the Compass parent portal.
Term 2 School Fees
This term school fees have been sent home by email. If you have not yet received your fees by email please check your spam or junk mail. Any questions or concerns or changes to your fee payment or structure or email address please contact the office.
Compass
There has been some changes to the appearance of Compass in the parent portal. Please take the time to have read the information that was sent home and please make sure that your notifications are turned on so all updates in relation to messages and notices will be received by parents.
Advanced Notice - PUPIL FREE DAY
This is advanced notice that we will be having a pupil free day in Term 3 on FRIDAY 17 SEPTEMBER 2021. This is the last day of TERM 3.
First Reconciliation Parent Night
This will be held on Tuesday 4th May at 5.30pm in the Stage 1 classroom. Please see Mrs Bearman's RE section of the newsletter for more information about the sacramental programs.
Crunch & Learn
Please ensure that the fruit/vegetables that are sent in for Crunch & Learn are already cut up and is something easy to eat without being too messy.
Term 2 - Change-over of Uniform
Summer uniform can be worn at the start of Term 2. However from 15 June (after the long weekend) winter uniform must be worn with the new school tie. School ties can be purchased from the office for $25. Please do not mix the uniforms - children must wear winter or summer.
After School Care
After School Care is proving to be very popular. The service is available from after school until 6pm Monday - Friday.

Important Reminder: School Hours, Pick ups, Drop offs, Supervision & Attendance
A reminder that school commences at 8:45am and ends at 2:50pm. Supervision in the morning is from 8:15am please do not arrive before this time.
The gate is locked for security reasons at 8:45am.
If your child arrives to school after 8:45am a parent or guardian will need to sign the student in at the front office. Students can be dropped off in the mornings at the Denison Street entrance or the Crown Street church gate entrance. Only the Crown Street church gate is to be used for afternoon pick ups please. If your child is unwell, please keep them at home.
Clothing Pool Opening Hours
The clothing pool is open Monday to Thursdays 8:30am - 1:30pm. All new items eg school bag, hat, tie and socks must be purchased on Qkr. All new items once paid will be sent home with your child.
