Dogs on School Grounds

If you are bringing a dog to school pick-up or drop-off please make sure it is on a lead and that you wait outside the gate for your child/ren.  We have students with allergies and some students that are very nervous around dogs. Thankyou.

Winter Uniform Reminders

It’s time to get ready for winter weather! All students are required to be in full College uniform every day.

This means:

  • Wearing plain black bottoms with:
    • No meshing or transparent parts
    • Minimal branding (eg. a small, discreet logo)
  • Wearing official College upper-wear including:
    • Ski jackets
    • Polar fleece
    • Knit jumpers (secondary)
    • Year 10 Rugby Tops

Students can also wear our College polo shirts over a plain black long-sleeve t-shirt. Hoodies are not part of our College uniform. Students wearing hoodies will be required to take them off.

All clothing should be named, in good condition without holes, tears or worn areas. Thanks for your support and cooperation.

Student Pickup from Back Gate

Due to the large number of parents who are choosing to pick up students at the Game Street gate, during afternoon pick up times, it is vital that parents assist younger students to access vehicles.  We are now posting a yard duty teacher at the gate to make sure students only leave the school grounds after their parents turn up.  To ensure the safety of all students, we strongly urge parents of younger children to leave their cars once they are parked and wait for children at the gate.  Parents can then safely escort children to their cars.

We are launching an exciting new program – a supported rock band for young people with disabilities aged 14-25 years.

The sessions will be Tuesdays 5.40-6.40pm at our Merbein studio and will be facilitated by RMT and rock musician Lewis Reidy-Crofts. We are an NDIS provider and participants are welcome to use their NDIS funds to access this program.

If you or someone you know plays an instrument or sings even at a beginner level then you can be part of this amazing opportunity –a safe place to apply your music skills and create music together.
