YEAR 1 and 2 CELEBRATION DAY

This week our Year 1 and 2 students were involved in a Celebration Day as part of their Civics and Citizenship Inquiry unit for Term 4. The children had a great day exploring and teaching their peers about their own created celebrations The Year 1 and 2 students thrived at being teachers for a day!  They all created and ran outstanding presentations and activities. Well done to all Year 1 and 2 students.

Thanks you to the parents that were able to join in on the special day. We are sure  you all enjoyed watching and joining in.

This day was a fantastic opportunity for our students to celebrate our diversity and our cultural differences and of course to enjoy some wonderful food!

Thank you to all of our Year 1 and 2 teachers and in particular Miss Smith for her leadership of the Inquiry unit.
