Topaz

During ANZAC week Topaz Community did a craft activity to commemorate our ANZAC's. For this activity students cut out a silhouette of a soldier then used crayons to create a sunset backdrop. We also learned about the sacrifices the ANZAC's made and the history behind this special day.

Emerald

We’ve been having a lot of fun in Term 2! During numeracy we’ve used playdough to make arrays. We made a list of things we can’t live without during Writer’s notebook to help inspire our future writing. To celebrate a very special person’s birthday, Emerald community students wrote and illustrated a narrative called ‘Where’s Lachie’. Happy Birthday Lachie!

Turquoise

Turquoise Community has had a great start to the term. We have been learning how to calm our minds through mindfulness meditation.
