ARCHERY CHAMPION
Ben Howe (Year 11) competed in the 2015 Australian Open Archery Championships in Hobart from 6 - 8 March.
The tournament involved a ranking round (72 arrows shot of 2 fights) to determine the ranking of all competing Archers. There were 37 of Australia's top Archers competing which included World and National champions and multiple Olympic representatives from 1996 - 2012.
After the first half of the ranking, Ben was ranked fourth and after the second half and a change in the weather (Ben shot very well considering the conditions) he was ranked fourth in Australia in the Open Division. Australia's latest Olympic Representative from London was placed 8th, eight points behind Ben. Ben also made it to the second round of the individual match play.
Congratulations on this amazing achievement, Ben, and we wish you continued success for the future.
