CONGRATULATIONS TO FEBRUARY’S TOP WRITERS!

Thank you to the many talented students who entered ‘Writer of the Month’ in February. With so many great entries it was very difficult to decide on our winners!

HUGE congratulations to:

These students have all won a $25 voucher from Benn’s Books and gained 50 points for their house. You can read their wonderful work on the ‘Writer of the Month’ google site.

BADMINTON CLUB

The school badminton club meets in the Gym on Thursdays after school until 4pm. All students are welcome, badminton rackets can be provided. Contact Mr Munro for more information.

ROAD SAFETY

As you all know, McKinnon Road is very busy, especially around drop off and pick up time.  Too many of our students are preoccupied with looking at their mobile phones when crossing the road, and therefore do not exercise the care that is required. A number of near incidents again reminds us of the importance of looking both ways and waiting until it is safe before stepping off the kerb. To our parents, your help in reinforcing the importance of safe behavior while crossing McKinnon Road is appreciated, since we value the health of all members of our school community.
