ENHANCE TV

Enhance TV is a video streaming service, a bit like Netflix, Stan etc., except with an educational focus.  Documentaries, films and sometimes drama shows that are broadcast by the free to air TV channels and Pay TV stations are recorded and made available for streaming, generally within 1 day of broadcast.  A really good feature of this service is that advertisements are edited out.   All McKinnon students will have recently received an email with log in information for Enhance TV.  Using their school user name and password, students can log in using Google plus (search your emails with the terms “Enhance TV direct” to find further information).  Please Note: that access to some videos may be restricted based on the program’s rating and the age of the student.  This is an excellent service made available to all students currently enrolled at McKinnon.  Please ask your child about it.

Can’t find the book you want to read on the shelves?  Browse our e-book selection on the home page by selecting the Wheelers e-book link.  From there you will be able to download a book of your choice.

BOOK REVIEWS

Our library system allows students to post book reviews.  100+ book reviews written by students have just been approved and are now viewable in the catalogue.  As you can see on the screen below the books without star ratings are waiting to be reviewed.

OPENING HOURS

Monday – Friday                8:15am - 4:30pm

(Please note:  Library will be closing at 4:30pm each day until further notice).

Staying open late after school for students to complete homework, study, research, to print, read and browse online etc.  Closed at recess.
