College Dux 2017

Our school community extends our congratulations to Britney Lloyd after she achieved the 2017 College Dux with an excellent ATAR score of 98.75.

There were many other stories of outstanding personal success and excellence and we extend our congratulations to all students in their dedication to their studies and to the teachers, school staff and family members who played such important support and mentoring roles. We look forward to publicly recognising the outstanding achievements of the top 20 ATAR scores and each Subject Dux at the Awards Ceremony on Tuesday 6th February 2018.

Merrijig Awards 2017

The college community came together on Thursday 7 December for Merrijig, Mount St. Joseph Girls' College awards evening. This was a wonderful finish to the 2017 academic year. Our awards night celebrated many of the fantastic achievements of our students and was well attended by parents, families and friends. We had the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the many gifts and achievements of our students in the areas of learning, the arts, community and sporting involvement. We also recognised the leadership qualities that have emerged throughout the year and the contribution our students have made to the wider community and in particular to the area of social justice. This year we were delighted to have Debra Egan, an alumnae of the College deliver the guest speaker’s address. The evening was a great tribute to the many and varied talents of our MSJ College students.

Congratulations are extended to all award winners, listed later in the newsletter,  as well as all students who performed on the evening.

We take this opportunity to thank the staff for their contribution to the College community. In partnership with parents and families we have enormous pride in our students and we look forward to 2018.
