EISM Division 2 Swimming Carnival

On Tuesday 12th March our EISM Swimming Team performed exceptionally well at the EISM Division 2 Swimming Carnival. Our School was promoted to the higher level Division 2 Swimming Carnival after winning the EISM Division 3 Swimming Carnival last year. Our students certainly rose to new heights as 14 Oakleigh Grammar swimming records were broken at this higher standard Swimming Carnival.

Our School competed against much larger EISM schools from the Central and Eastern Conferences. Oakleigh Grammar won two age group Premierships, Under 14 Boys and the Open Girls.

Our Swim Team was brilliantly led by our Swimming Captains Jenna Menelaou and Jeremy Micallef. I would like to thank Jenna and Jeremy for their commitment to our Swimming Program over the last six years. We had many individual and relay team places which enabled our School to finish mid-field, and retain our place at the EISM Division 2 Swimming Carnival in 2020.

I would also like to acknowledge the work undertaken by Ms Lisa Anastopoulos who has been involved in training our EISM Swim Team, and for also providing breakfast for our swimmers at our before school morning training sessions.
