Last week, parents and significant people were invited to attend a celebration afternoon to celebrate the students’ achievements and to allow the students to publically acknowledge and thank their significant person.
The afternoon comprised a presentation and tour of the gallery to view the art works while enjoying a light afternoon tea in the Performing Arts Centre.
The Significant Persons Project for Year 8 students is a substantial part of the semester’s curriculum. The project spans the Arts, English and Languages faculties and is intended to allow students to identify and pay homage to a significant person in their lives.
