Congratulations to all students who completed the GAT last Wednesday and to Year 11 students for finishing off their exam week.
Students have now commenced their Units 2 and 4 studies. It is therefore important to maintain attendance over the next week to begin these units and to collect the homework for the Term 2 Study Break.
A reminder that if your child misses a School Assessed Coursework (SAC) they must get a medical certificate to enable them to sit the SAC in the next available IPT time slot. Students will not be granted SAC redemption unless they have a medical certificate or it is a school-approved absence. If there are extenuating circumstances please let us know and we will make a decision based on the VCAA guidelines.
Once a student has been approved for SAC redemption, they will be required to sit the SAC the next available time slot.
With Term 2 coming to an end, it is essential that students make it a priority to reschedule any outstanding SACs or Exams with the Senior School Coordinators.
Don’t forget to see your Home Group teacher or a Senior School Coordinator to update your VCE points tally. The points aggregate system allows for you to be recognised and rewarded for your commitment to your learning and to the broader school community.
Points continue to accrue over the two years of your VCE.
The Year 12’s are still enjoying a positive, social and nutritious start to their Friday’s with their breakies. Don’t forget, these are running from 8.00 am to 8.25 am in the VCE kitchen area.
Well done to our dedicated captains for organising!

VCE reports will be accessible to students and parents via Compass at the conclusion of the term.
Mindful mornings are still happening every morning at Steamworks from 8:20-8:30 am. Come down to Steamworks and enjoy a relaxing start to your morning.
VCE students will receive one point for every session they attend; so make sure that you put your name down when you drop in.

Any absences from school must be parent/guardian approved. You can do this through a signed note or you can approve your child’s absences via the Parent Approval Button on Compass.
You can also use Compass to view your student’s past absences.
